GEO: Joseph Stalin Museum

Stalin Park, Gori, Georgia Daily: 10.00am - 6.00pm A trip to Gori, Georgia wouldn't be complete without visiting the Joseph Stalin Museum, which is dedicated to the life of the leader of the Soviet Union. It was first opened to the public in 1957 with a period of closure in 1989 with the downfall of the Soviet Union and the independence movement of Georgia.

GEO: Gori Downtown

Gori, Georgia Known as the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, Gori is a city in the eastern part of Georgia, approximately 86 km west of Tbilisi. It used to be an important military stronghold in the Middle Ages and currently serves as the capital of the Shida Kartli region.

Quba District, Azerbaijan After enjoying the half-day group tour to Qobustan by TES Tour, my BFF and I embarked on a full-day group tour to Quba and Khinaliq by the same tour operator on our second last day in the country. On our way to Khinaliq, which is known to be the highest and most remote village in Azerbaijan, we passed by the city of Quba.
