Cliff(y) Goes Travelling

[Main Park] Inokashira Park, Musashino, Tokyo, Japan Tue-Sun: 9.30am - 5.00pm Welcome to Part 2 of Inokashira Park Zoo that has been around since 1942, featuring the Main Park that's bigger in size compared to Lakeside Park that I've featured in Part 1 . Why did I decide to show an image showing a picture of an elephant instead of the actual animal as the cover photo of this post? Read on to find out more.

[Lakeside Park] Inokashira Park, Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan Tue-Sun: 9.30am - 5.00pm First opened to the public in 1942, Inokashira Park Zoo is taking care of more than 170 animal species. It's divided into two sections: Main Park in Musashino and Lakeside Park in Mitaka. This post features the latter, which my BFF and I visited first. It's inhabited mainly by water birds, as well as fishes, amphibians and reptiles inside the aquarium.

3-1 Ojicho, Nada, Kobe, Japan Thu-Tue: 10.00am - 5.00pm (Mar-Oct)                 10.00an - 4.30pm (Nov-Feb) Welcome to Part 2 of Kobe Oji Zoo, which has been around since 1951! In addition to the various animal exhibits, the zoo has also got a small amusement park for children within its premise, alongside a zoological science centre and a 19th century house that you can explore when you come at the right time.

3-1 Ojicho, Nada, Kobe, Japan Thu-Tue: 10.00am - 5.00pm (Mar-Oct)                 10.00an - 4.30pm (Nov-Feb) Boasting a total of 150 different species of animals, Kobe Oji Zoo is a pretty awesome zoo that covers an area of more than 80,000 square metres. Although I haven't been able to confirm this, it's said that this particular zoo is the only one that has got both giant pandas and koalas in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Avenue de la Liberte, Bamako, Mali Daily: 6.30am - 5.30pm Located to the north of the  National Museum and the  National Park , National Zoo of Mali is home to over a hundred animal species. After undergoing extensive rehabilitation and expansion for 2 years since June 2011, the zoo opened its doors to the public again since its inauguration for the second time on 20 June 2013.

Vlissigen Road, Georgetown, Guyana Daily: 9.30am - 5.30pm It's no secret that I love animals. Whenever it's convenient, I enjoy going to a zoo. Guyana Zoo may be small and not so well-kept compared to many others around the world, but it's an interesting place to visit nonetheless. Having been in operation since 1952, It's located inside Guyana Botanical Gardens.

64 Merab Kostava Street, Tbilisi, Georgia Daily: 10.00am - 6.00pm Founded in 1927, Tbilisi Zoo is the oldest and largest zoological park in Georgia. Prior to the massive flood that happened in 2015, the zoo had approximately 300 species. It's such a pity that quite a lot of its inhabitants died, while others were on the loose.
