Cliff(y) Goes Travelling

HEL-SIN (11h 35m) Airbus 350-900 ETD: 11.55pm (GMT + 3)  ETA:  4.30pm (GMT + 8) It was time to fly back to Singapore with Finnair in the Economy Class cabin. My BFF and I'd originally wanted to experience its Business Class service when flying out of Helsinki, Finland, but we only managed to win the bid upgrade for  AY132  from Singapore to Helsinki at the beginning of our journey.

BRU-HEL (2h 25m) Embraer 190 ETD: 7.20pm (GMT + 2)  ETA:  10.45pm (GMT + 3) It was time for another flight with Norra (Nordic Regional Airlines), Finnair's regional wing. Having tried the Business Class cabin onboard AY1141 that brought us from Helsinki, Finland to Warsaw, Poland, my BFF and I flew in the Economy Class of AY1546 from Brussels, Belgium back to Helsinki.

Since 1 May 2015, Norra has been operating under Finnair's flight code. Also, quite a number of the fleet have been painted with Finnair's livery.

Terminal 2  Near Gate 22 , Vantaa Airport, Vantaa, Finland Daily: 5.30am - 12 midnight Finnair operates a total of three lounges at Vantaa Airport, one in the Schengen area and two in the non-Schengen area. My BFF and I had about three hours to kill before our next flight to Warsaw, Poland. Most of our transit time was spent at the one in the Schengen area, which is 940 square metres big and seats 305 guests.

SIN-HEL (11h 50m) Airbus 350-900 ETD: 11.35pm (GMT + 8)  ETA:  6.25am (GMT + 3) Finnair, the flag carrier of Finland, prides itself in providing a faster connection between Asia and Europe by flying the northern route via Helsinki. Finnair is currently the sixth oldest airline in continuous operation, founded as Aero O/Y in 1923 before it changed its name in 1968.
