93 Stamford Road, National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Daily: 10.00am - 7.00pm Let's continue with Part 2 of "The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022", which is the first global showcase outside of Japan since its first inception in 2002. As a quick recap,  Part 1  showcases one of the three galleries that I went to, together with the gift shop and pop-up café. In today's post, we shall marvel at what the second and third galleries have got to offer.

93 Stamford Road, National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Daily: 10.00am - 7.00pm Let's take a time out from Azerbaijan to take a nostalgia trip at one of the exhibitions hosted by the National Museum of Singapore that's going to be over soon. "The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022" has been running since 5 November 2022, its first overseas debut since its premiere in Tokyo, Japan back in 2002.

I've yet to be able to blog regularly again, but for today, I'm going to put up photos on an ongoing exhibition that truly captivated this highly nostalgic person who very much prefer to live in the late 1980s to 1990s. Titled "OFF / ON: Everyday Technology That Changed Our Lives, 1970s – 2000s", the immersive showcase can be found at the basement level of Singapore's oldest museum until the end of October 2022.

18 Marina Gardens Drive, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Dale Chihuly is an American artist best known in the field of blown glass, "moving it into the realm of large-scale sculpture". For about 5 months in 2021, the exhibition at Gardens by the Bay marks his first major garden exhibition in Asia. This exhibition is now over, and as much as I'd like to post this entry earlier, I'm sorry that I forgot about it when life got really tough last year. Still, for the record, I shall upload a few photos that I took.

18 Marina Gardens Drive, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Daily: 6.30pm - 11.00pm I hope everyone has been having a great Christmas season! Known to be the biggest yuletide event in Singapore, Christmas Wonderland is back to illuminate the Supertree Grove area of Gardens by the Bay from 3 December 2021 to 2 January 2022. Visitors can enjoy light displays, have fun with carnival games and shop for gifts at the Christmas market.

1 Fullerton Square, Singapore Welcome to Part 2 of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore (5*)! Don't forget to check out  Part 1 , if you haven't done so. In today's post, let's explore the rest of the areas and the history of the heritage building that covers a floor area of 41,100 square metres. Playing a pivotal role in the history of Singapore, it's been gazetted as a National Monument since December 2015.

1336 Tamagusuku, Maekawa, Nanjo, Okinawa, Japan Daily: 9.00am - 5.30pm Located in the southern part of Okinawa Island is an attraction called Okinawa World, which comprises three sections: a massive limestone cave, a replica of a traditional Ryukyu village and a snake museum. Due to the limited time that we had, my BFFs and I only had the chance to go for the first two with the focus on the magnificent cave.

Siloso Beach, Sentosa Island, Singapore Daily: 7.30pm - 10.30pm 'Sentosa Island Lights' is an annual light-up festival held at the resort island off Singapore's southern coast. This year is the fourth installation, featuring lovable Sanrio characters at Siloso Beach. Changi Airport Connector, Changi Airport Terminal 4, Singapore Changi Jurassic Mile is a shared walking and cycling path that features permanent display of life-sized dinosaurs. Stretching over 1 km, it's part of the 3.5 km Changi Airport Connector that links the airport and East Coast Park. I'm not sure why, but this year has seen dinosaurs popping up everywhere in Singapore.

720 Upper Changi Road East, SIA Training Centre, Singapore I know it's high time for me to put a closure to the Japan trip series with a quick post on my Jetstar flight, but before I do that, allow me to publish this post about the very informative guided tour by Singapore Airlines that I took part in last Saturday. Inside Singapore Airlines is part of the Discover Your Singapore Airlines trilogy, running over the last two weekends of November 2020.

6-6-1 Toyosu, Koto, Tokyo, Japan Mon-Sat: 5.00am - 5.00pm Toyosu Market is a wholesale market built on reclaimed land at Tokyo Bay. It comprises an auction seafood market, a general wholesale seafood market and a market selling fruits and vegetables, each housed in a separate building. First opened to the public in the last quarter of 2018, it has replaced the historic Tsukiji Market as the largest seafood market in the world.

Chuo, Kobe, Japan It's been 25 years since the Great Hanshin Earthquake that happened on 17 January 1995, which was one of the worst earthquakes of the 20th century in Japan. Kobe Luminarie is an annual winter light-up held in memory of the earthquake victims, taking place in the vicinity of Motomachi train station for two weeks from early to mid-December.

8-2 Tetorihoncho, Tsuruya Department Store, Chuo, Kumamoto, Japan Daily: 10.00am - 7.00pm Who hasn't seen Kumamon before? Created by the government of Kumamoto Prefecture in 2010 to draw tourists to the region after the opening of Kyushu Shinkansen line, the black bear has been enjoying tremendous popularity not only in Japan, but also throughout the world. When in town, you can see it in action at Kumamon Square.

5 Cox Terrace, Fort Canning Centre, Fort Canning Park, Singapore Daily: 9.00am - 9.00pm I'm almost done writing on my June 2019 trip to Canada, but for today, allow me to interject with something patriotic before the end of the year. This year is the 200th anniversary of Sir Stamford Raffles' landing in our Little Red Dot, one of the key turning points in our history as it marked the founding of modern Singapore.

Siloso Beach, Sentosa Island, Singapore Daily: 10.00am - 9.00pm Let's take a quick break from the European adventure by looking at something held locally. 'Sentosa Sandsation' is the biggest sand sculpting festival in Southeast Asia. Even if you're not a fan of Marvel superheroes, it's worth visiting the free exhibition that's held at Siloso Beach from 1 to 16 September 2018.

Marina Bay Waterfront, Singapore As Asia's leading sustainable light art festival, the fifth edition this year showcases twenty installations by local and international artists, along with the various programmes targeted at individuals and families alike. Held since 2010, 'iLight Marina Bay' is centred around the use "energy-saving lighting or environmentally-friendly materials" to produce works of art.

6 Raffles Boulevard, Central Atrium,  Marina Square,  Singapore Daily: 11.00am - 10.00pm Let's take a short break from the stuff related to Luang Prabang, Laos. Marina Square has put up a wonderful balloon exhibition at its central atrium titled 'Sea of Wonder', which duration coincides with the one-week March school holiday here in Singapore at the point of writing.

8 Sentosa Gateway, Resorts World Sentosa,  Sentosa Island,  Singapore Daily: 10.00am - 7.00pm First of all, Happy New Year! Pardon me for the hiatus as I've been away in search of materials for future posts. I thought I wouldn't have the time to write about the Pokémon Research Exhibition inside the S.E.A. Aquarium at the point of writing, but apparently it has been extended till 5 March 2017. It's the first time the fun and interactive exhibition is held outside Japan.
