GEO: Hotel Old Town
3 Joseb Grishashvili Street, Kutaisi, Georgia
For our 2D1N stay in Kutaisi, my BFF and I chose Hotel Old Town (3*). It's located at the historic centre of the city near Rioni River and Tetri Bridge. Kutaisi Tourism Information Centre is within a short walking distance from the hotel, though we didn't have a chance to go there.

From Kutaisi I train station, we took about 20 minutes to reach the hotel by foot.

Such a nicely decorated check-in area! |
The hotel manager appeared in a jiffy from the restaurant after I hit the desk bell. After verifying my booking, he gave me the key to room no. 1. I forgot to take a picture of it.

Unbeknownst to us, we were given a free upgrade to the suite room. How lucky!

There's a wardrobe near the bathroom. |

No bottled water, coffee and tea was provided. |
The bathroom had just a little bit of an unpleasant smell from the drain, so I decided to keep the door open most of the time.

Seeing that instantly reminded me of the famous life simulation game: The Sims! |
The bed is queen-sized. There's another old-style television in the bedroom.

There's no door between the living room and the bedroom. |

There's a small balcony decorated with a few potted plants.

It was drizzling that afternoon. |

If you've noticed from the very first picture of this post, a mix of rain and snow ensued from the drop in the temperature in the evening. That was, in fact, the only snowfall that we saw during our stay in Georgia.

Getting heavier! |

Enjoy the short video clip below.
Both of us had a good night sleep. The next day, we had breakfast at the restaurant before checking-out and embarking on our journey to Batumi.

'Twas a short, but pleasant stay at Hotel Old Town.
