Turkish Airlines TK800 is a multi-leg route from Istanbul, Turkey to Bogota, Colombia, and then continuing onward to Panama City before heading back to its point of origin. I had the opportunity to experience the latter two legs, marking the longest time I've ever spent inside a Business Class cabin.

Boarding commenced approximately half an hour before the scheduled departure time.

That's how you spell Istanbul in Spanish.

The Business Class cabin of the Boeing 777-300ER is equipped with 28 seats arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration.

About half of the cabin were occupied that afternoon.

Nostalgic, yet functional old-school remote control for the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE)~

The cabin crew handed out noise-cancelling headphones. Shortly after that, they followed up with a selection of welcome drinks. I opted for a glass of minty lemonade, while my BFF had orange juice.

Let's have a look at the items that can be found on the seat.

Usually I don't use the slippers provided onboard.

Denon is a Japanese brand.
The safety demonstration video began to play as the airline started to push back from the gate.

For the relatively short hop to Panama City, a snack service was offered to keep passengers satisfied. I've written about it in my food blog.

Refreshment: Snack Platter
I checked out some of the TV programmes available onboard.

I also watched BBC World News from the Live TV selections.
The aircraft descended smoothly and touched down safely at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City.

As it was a technical stop, passengers continuing their journey to Istanbul had to remain inside the aircraft.

That was my first experience seeing ground staff clean the aircraft while I was sitting down.

I also took the opportunity to go to the lavatory.

The next leg of the journey began with a pre-departure beverage service. This time round, my BFF chose the minty lemonade, while I went for the raspberry juice.

With a warm smile, the Flying Chef handed out menu cards. Afterwards, the cabin crew took down our orders for the flight ahead.

A family of three joined us in the back row. The father sat next to my BFF, while his wife and their young daughter were seated across the aisle near the window. The little girl, not wanting to be separated from her father, seemed unsettled by the seating arrangement. As such, my BFF and I offered to swap seats so that the three of them could sit together in the middle. It was a win-win situation, for the family was grateful and I also ended up with a window seat.

Before take-off, I took a moment to check out the amenity kit.

We were on the ground for about 90 minutes since we landed.

The aircraft pushed back on time, and soon enough we found ourselves soaring into the sky again.

Such a mesmerising aerial view of the city with the streets illuminated by countless golden lights~

Once we'd reached cruising altitude, a short video clip regarding the Internet service was shown. I also took a moment to check out the slippers provided.

An aurora-like mood lighting!

Prior to dinner, I had some warm nuts with whiskey while watching Happy Feet 2.

Following that, a hot towel was handed out to each passenger.

I've dived deepr into the details of the food and beverages in a separate food blog post.

Once the meal service concluded, the cabin lights were dimmed. I reclined my seat into a fully flat position.

I lay down with Melon, drifting in and out of sleep for about four hours.

As I took a stroll around the cabin to stretch my legs, I noticed that no snacks were placed in the galley.

I washed my face and brushed my teeth before the second meal service.
About two and a half hours before arrival, the cabin crew began the gentle process of waking up passengers by distributing juice to freshen ourselves up, followed by hot towels.

I started watching my second movie: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.

While waiting for breakfast to be served, I took a moment to enjoy the breathtaking view of snow-capped mountains outside the window. Clearly I wasn't the only one captivated by the panorama.

Breakfast was served at 6.00am Bogota time, which corresponded to 2.00pm in Istanbul, and the last round of hot towel service ensued afterwards.

Breakfast main course #2: Pancakes with Apples

I enjoyed the last few moments onboard as the flight was nearing its end. The cabin was calm, with the gentle hum of the engines providing a sense of peace.

Be like Pikachu who always keeps his seatbelt fastened while seated!
"Cabin crew, be seated for arrival."

Touch down was pretty smooth.

After landing, we spent close to 20 minutes taxiing before the aircraft finally parked at the gate.

Back at the largest airport terminal in the world!

With a short transit time ahead, we rushed to catch the next flight home.
