BTW, did you know that each of Saudia's wide-body aeroplanes has got a prayer room towards the rear of the Economy Class cabin?

South Terminal, King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Daily: 24 hours Saudia's lounge shares the same name as its frequent flyer programme. During our transit at Jeddah, my BFF and I spent most of the time at the lounge. Business Class and First Class passengers can access the lounge for free, while their Economy Class counterparts can do so by paying at the door.

Before anything else, let's continue the story regarding my journey from Istanbul, Turkey to Jakarta, Indonesia via Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabian Airlines, or Saudia in short, is said to be the third largest in the Middle East in terms of revenue. No prize for guessing, but it's behind Emirates and Qatar Airways.

After enduring the long queue at immigration, I finally got my passport stamped. With that done, it was time to locate the transfer counter for the next flight, which marked my virgin experience of touching down at Chubu Centrair International Airport in Nagoya.

21-20 Tsubaki-cho Nagoya, Aichi Japan Bringing me a smile indeed, Smile Hotel Nagoya Shinkansenguchi (3*) lives up to its name with its prime location not far from the entrance to the bullet train platform of Nagoya station. For the price point, I'm not sure if there are any other hotels around offering free-flowing freshly grilled unagi (Japanese freshwater eel) for breakfast.
