Terminal 2 Near Gate 22, Vantaa Airport, Vantaa, Finland
Daily: 5.30am - 12 midnight
Finnair operates a total of three lounges at Vantaa Airport, one in the Schengen area and two in the non-Schengen area. My BFF and I had about three hours to kill before our next flight to Warsaw, Poland. Most of our transit time was spent at the one in the Schengen area, which is 940 square metres big and seats 305 guests.
As we were going to fly with Norra in the Business Class cabin, we had the privilege to visit the lounge for free. One can pay
€48.00 (~S$76.70) for a three-hour access either from 9.00am to 1.00pm or from 6.00pm - 11.00pm.
It was certainly a busy morning at the lounge with many seats occupied.

Those egg-shaped chairs somehow made me think of The Sims. |
Having said that, there were still lots of empty seats at the back area of the lounge.

Those two were sleeping soundly. |

That section is the furthest from the buffet area, but there are snacks and water available. |
I did a bit of aircraft spotting while charging my phone.

Hello to that blue bird belonging to KLM! |
I shared some sweet and savoury breakfast items with my BFF. Find out more
here, will you?
|
Don't forget to try Karelian pasty if you haven't ever had one before. |
Before leaving, I decided to check out some reading materials, as well as interesting items on display.
|
Moomin small towel! |
The toilet isn't only small, but also nondescript. Finnair's website states that there are two private shower suites somewhere in the lounge, but I failed to notice their location.
We'd be departing from Gate 22, which is just next to the lounge.
