Daily: 6.30pm - 11.00pm

I hope everyone has been having a great Christmas season! Known to be the biggest yuletide event in Singapore, Christmas Wonderland is back to illuminate the Supertree Grove area of Gardens by the Bay from 3 December 2021 to 2 January 2022. Visitors can enjoy light displays, have fun with carnival games and shop for gifts at the Christmas market.

Tickets can only be pre-purchased online at http://www.christmaswonderland.sg/, where it costs S$9.00 per adult when purchased online by 11.59 pm on the day before the visit or S$10.00 on the day itself, subject to availability. A child ticket, on the other hand, has a flat fee of S$5.00.

Upon entrance, Mistletoe Alley Market shall be the first stretch that you have to go through.

Shop for your loved ones or yourself, perhaps?

What I thought were lollipops from far at first turned out to be clappers.

Visitors can sign up their children for a Sustainable Soap Making Workshop by Fawn Labs.

Thinking that I shouldn't walk away empty-handed, I decided to get Okinawa milk tea and strawberry lemonade from Sofnade.

As you go through the Christmas market, you can also see a few illuminations.

Somehow I immediately thought of a shaman when seeing that. Perhaps I've been playing games too much.

There are four carnival games: Blockbuster, Bowling, Darts and Fishy Fishy.

Bowling is just not for me.

Do you love Winnie the Pooh?
One of the eight magical light displays is Enchanted Bridge, which is 30 m long.

The stunning display and its surrounding area is illuminated by 100,000 LED lights.

Do comment with the version in your mother tongue if it's not listed there!
Once you're done marvelling at dazzling bridge, you have to follow a one-way path to Walk of Stars, which then leads you to either the Christmas market again or the exit.

The starry tunnel is 40 m long.

Did I shine as bright as the stars?

Here's a short video clip that I took as I was walking through the tunnel.

During this period of time, a visitor needs to a Christmas Wonderland 2021 ticket to access the separately-charged Supertree Observatory and OCBC Skyway.

The observatory is 50 m above the ground.

OCBC Skyway is a 128 m-long aerial walkway.
Garden Rhapsody is a signature light and sound show of the Gardens by the Bay, which typically occurs at 7.45pm and 8.45pm daily. In conjunction with Christmas Wonderland 2021, however, there's a special Christmas edition that occurs four times daily at 7.00pm, 8.00pm, 9.00pm and 10.00pm.

Fancy a ride on a Venetian double-storey carousel. Tickets are sold at S$10.00 per person and S$5.00 for each adult accompanying a child. They have to be pre-booked online as well.

If you're into cars, unlike me, you can have a look at the first-ever BMW iX and the new BMW iX3, both of which deliver emission-free driving.

Snap a photo with both cars to stand a chance to be one of the ten lucky winners of an exclusive gift.

Not far from the cars is a light installation by Zenyum, a healthcare brand with a mission to help its customers senyum (lit. smile) more by providing 3D-printed invisible braces and cosmetic dental treatment.

Standing at approximately seven-storeys high, Spalliera reminds me of Kobe Luminarie, an annual winter light-up in Kobe, Japan held in memory of the victims of the Great Hanshin Earthquake.

Handmade in Italy, it's inspired by the circular rose windows found in Gothic churches in Europe.

I'm too lazy to remove the sea of people in the photo.

Is December your most favourite month of the year? It surely is for me.

Is that Cinderella?

What's your most desired Christmas gift ever?

Would you like to take a photo with Father Christmas at La Casa di Santa Claus (lit. Santa Claus' House). Surely his house in the North Pole doesn't look like that though.

Thank you, Santa, for noticing me from far!
I stood for at least five minutes in front of the towering Tinsel Castle.

Its height is 10 m.

Here are two video clips for your viewing.

Beyond that is an open-air dining space cheekily called ELFresco. You can find the following five stalls: Brewerkz, Café Iguana, GOPIZZA, Hendrick’s Holiday Hot Air Balloon Bar and Mr White.

After spending about an hour and a half there, it was time for me to go home.

Look at the number of stickers!

At the point of writing, Christmas Wonderland 2021 have unfortunately been sold out. Hopefully you've enjoyed some of the photos and videos that I put up if you haven't managed to go there.
