Angkor Phnom Penh Street, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
One week flew like a rocket. It was finally time to say goodbye to our beneficiary, the Methodist School of Cambodia, as well as our beloved tour guide. Being the largest airport of the kingdom, Phnom Penh International Airport occupies a land area of 400 hectares. It's located approximately 10 km west of the capital city.
As soon as everyone went down the bus, we proceeded into the the terminal building.

Blue Pumpkin, a local chain of eatery and bakery, has outlets in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. |
|
There are quite a few seats near the check-in counters. |
We waited for a short while before the SilkAir check-in counters were open.
|
I'll write about Cambodia Angkor Air in the near future! |
After immigration, we had to go through the duty free shop in order to reach the gate.
|
Would you like to put your face there and get your picture taken? :P |
The so-called Phnom Penh Dining Avenue is what you're going to see after passing through the duty shops. There are a few outlets to choose from if you need to grab a meal before your flight.
|
I decided to share a cup of milk green tea with my colleague. :) |
I spent the rest of the time wandering about, taking pictures of the various shops available as shown below.
|
Honestly, I'm already missing Christmas~ |
|
Cambodia is Starbucks' 16th market in the Asia Pacific region. |
|
Use your imagination to guess what's that! |
It was nice to see a Vietnam Airlines' A321 aircraft parked at one of the gates. The blue colour is so pleasing to the eyes.
Before I forget, there's only one restaurant that I could afford to write about in my food blog:
Bopha Phnom Penh. Do look forward to the next entry on
SilkAir MI607 that brought us home.
