Phetsarat Road, Luang Prabang, Laos
Located approximately 4 km away from the town centre, Luang Prabang International Airport has only got one terminal building serving both domestic and international flights. It's a small, yet pretty much clean and peaceful airport as there aren't that many flights operating daily.
My BFF and I reached the airport at around 11.30am to catch our flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia scheduled at 1.40pm.

There's one eatery at the public area, as well as another at the transit area. |
|
That's the counter for the shared airport shuttle van, which is inexpensive. |

Fruit chips are popular in many Southeast Asian countries. |
The check-in process for Lao Airlines was speedy.
After passing through the mandatory immigration control and security check, we explored every single corner of the transit area.

We had a simple meal at the café. Read here to find out what we ordered. |
|
That's the best place to spend your small change. :P |

A restricted lounge for government officials and other VIPs, I suppose? |
We also went up to the second floor, where there were fewer people. Most of them were relaxing inside the one and only passenger lounge, which is the Bangkok Airways International Boutique Lounge.

So serene~ |
|
Probably one of the smallest lounges in the world? |
|
Hmm, I remember seeing Monument Books in Phnom Penh, Cambodia... |
I'm pretty sure my mom will enjoy the atmosphere of Luang Prabang. I shall bring her there one day when she's healthier.
