GEO: Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi

Elia Hill, Tbilisi, Georgia Daily: 10.00am - 6.00pm Affectionately known as Sameba Cathedral by many locals, Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi was constructed between 1995 and 2004. It's the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church, which is the third tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world at the point of writing.

GEO: Tbilisi Zoo

Prior to the massive flood that happened in 2015, the zoo had approximately 300 species. It's such a pity that quite a lot of its inhabitants died, while others were on the loose.

In general, the staff are friendly and professional. Many people have commended the service rendered on the Internet.

BAH-TBS (3h 5m) Airbus 320-214 ETD: 1.30am (GMT + 3)  ETA: 5 .35am (GMT + 4) I've always loved that feeling of excitement mixed with a bit of apprehension whenever I'm about to visit a new country. Originally planning to explore more of the Middle East, I found out that Gulf Air has just recently started a route from Manama, Bahrain to Tbilisi, Georgia and vice versa. Without thinking twice, I booked the flight to that country in the Caucasus region.

BAH: Dilmun Lounge @ Bahrain International Airport

Opposite Gate 16, Bahrain International Airport, Muharraq, Bahrain Daily: 24 hours As my BFF and I had more than 3 hours to kill, we decided to go to Dilmun Lounge. Said to be one of the best lounges accessible to Priority Pass members, we didn't hesitate at all to enter. It appears that the managing organisation also offers a limousine service to and from the airport.

Road No. 2404, Muharraq, Bahrain Bahrain International Airport is located in Muharraq, an island approximately 7 km away from Manama, the capital city of the country. It used to be the first international airport in the Persian Gulf, serving regular flights from London, the UK to Delhi, India via Bahrain and vice versa.

BAH: Al-Fateh Grand Mosque

Road No. 2407, Manama, Bahrain Sat-Thu: 9.00am - 4.00pm Al-Fateh Grand Mosque is one of the largest mosques in the world with a land area of 6,500 square metres. It was erected in 1987 and named after the founder of Bahrain who was originally from Qatar according to the guide that brought my BFF and me around.

BAH: Qal'at al-Bahrain

Karbabad, Bahrain Daily: 8.00am - 6.00pm Known by many international tourists as Bahrain Fort, Qal'at al-Bahrain is an archaeological site inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was once the capital of the Dilmun civilisation that flourished from around the late fourth millennium to 800 BC.

My BFF and I arrived at Swiss International Palace Hotel (4*) exactly one month ago for our 3D2N stay. How time flies! Situated at the bustling Gudaibiya Avenue, the hotel houses a total of 84 guest rooms.
