PHI: Mabuhay Lounge @ Ninoy Aquino International Airport
Andrews Avenue, Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1, Manila, Philippines
Daily: 24 hours

Philippine Airlines operates its flagship Mabuhay Lounge at Terminal 1 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila. Stepping into the lounge was a much-needed break from the rather chaotic scene at the terminal. I really appreciated having a quiet space to grab a bite, recharge and gather my thoughts before the next flight to Sydney, Australia.

My travel buddy and I had complimentary access to the lounge since we'd be flying in the Business Class for the next leg of our journey.
Just beyond the reception is the dining area, which naturally becomes the first stop for most travellers. For the full dinner story, do pop over to my food blog.

I knew there'd be arroz caldo (Filipino chicken porridge). Yay!

Another island features noodle dishes, salad and dessert.
There's a wide range of cocktails available to order.
Nearest to the dining area is a small seating area with two workstations.

There's a reminder to "keep your conversations hushed as courtesy to other lounge guests".
The main sitting area has plenty of seats, but offers little in the way of private cubicles or secluded corners.

I’m certainly not complaining, but I was expecting the lounge to be busier in the late evening.

The male toilet is nondescript.

I didn't manage to check out the shower room.
A walk-in pass is available at a price of PHP 2,850.00 (~S$61.80) for Philippine Airlines passengers without complimentary access.
