BAH: Swiss International Palace Hotel

333 Gudaibiya Avenue, Blk. 321 Bldg. 242, Manama, Bahrain

Happy New Year, everyone! May 2018 be more awesome for all of us. My BFF and I arrived at Swiss International Palace Hotel (4*) exactly one month ago for our 3D2N stay. How time flies! Situated at the bustling Gudaibiya Avenue, the hotel houses a total of 84 guest rooms.

As mentioned in the previous post, the hotel initially forgot about the shuttle service that I'd booked way in advance. Despite being upset about it, we were glad that we reached the hotel safe and sound at the end of the day.

It was a very smooth ride from the airport to the hotel.

Hmm, the hotel name was under renovation, I guess?
At the check-in counter, the staff apologised regarding the shuttle service. On top of that, given that the Deluxe Twin Rooms were overbooked, we received a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite. Sweet!

Welcome drink! :)

Pikachu and Melon would like to try living like Middle Eastern royalty. :P

We made our way to the fourth floor.

We were assigned to the room on the right-hand side.

The Junior Suite is 44 square metres big.

As you can see, the white carpet has been tainted.

Do you like the colour scheme?

The wardrobe is way too close to the bedroom door, I feel.
Let's take a look at the ensuite bathroom.

The water power of the bidet was way too weak.

The following two pictures show the view from the room at night and in the morning respectively.

Breakfast is served daily at Swiss Café on the ground floor. Find out more about the buffet spread by clicking here.

How do you like your eggs done?

The moment I saw donuts, I just had to get one of them.

Hot milk is available. Awesome!
The gym is well-equipped.

Let's pump hard!

My tired face~
That was a really refreshing swim at 18 degree Celsius after an intense workout session.

Can I be the model for their Thai Spa? xD
Do make use of the free shuttle service to and from the airport, but perhaps you may want to remind the hotel to pick you up the day before your arrival.
