JPN: Hotel Stay the Kansai Airport

Situated not far from Rinku-Town station, Hotel Stay the Kansai Airport (1*) is just one train station away from Kansai International Airport, the primary airport serving Osaka and the broader Kansai region. Having been in operation since 2020, the self-check-in hotel has got a few rooms that can accommodate groups of 6 to 8 people.

Check-in time commences at 4.00pm using a number code, sent to the e-mail address used for booking, to unlock the door. My family and I were allocated to one of the rooms on the second floor.

The room offers a mix of Japanese and Western sleeping arrangements.


There's a washing machine with laundry powder in the toilet.



Instead of having our last dinner at a restaurant, we decided to get food from a supermarket at Rinku Pleasure Town Seacle near the train station. To add a sweet finale, we savoured sweet and juicy oranges bought earlier from Yuasa.



The check-out time is at 11 am.

Our journey began from Taipei Main Station by making use of the Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) system on Tze-Chiang Limited Express (Puyuma), the newest, fastest and more spacious train type introduced in 2013.
