CAN: Ramada Limited Vancouver Airport
7188 Westminster Highway, Richmond, British Columbia, Canada
Ramada Limited Vancouver Airport (2*) is located near Minoru Park in Richmond, dubbed as the most Asian city in North America that's part of Metro Vancouver. A quick search online will lead to comments pointing out that it's a rather old property, but my BFF and I felt comfortable during our stay there.

As soon as we retrieved our luggage, we exited the international terminal building of Vancouver International Airport and waited for the hotel's shuttle van, which is promised to leave on the 15 and 45-minute marks of the hour from the airport to the hotel. However, none came to sight after close to an hour of waiting. However, none came after close to an hour of waiting. That was our only complaint.
Feeling annoyed, we decided to take the metro instead. As I was pressing the buttons on one of the ticket machines at YVR-Airport station, a couple approached me to give their one-day tickets as they didn't need them anymore. What a blessing in disguise as each ticket costs C$10.50 (~S$10.95)!
We alighted at the southern terminus station called Richmond-Brighouse and made our way to the hotel by foot.
The hotel has got 74 guest rooms. |
I believe that's a faux fireplace. |
We were assigned to one of the corner rooms on the second floor.
What could be more apt than a portrait of a maple tree? |
I could sleep well for all the three nights.
I recall watching the news where Donald Trump said that the USA would send more troops to Poland. |

There's a small balcony.
There's a bath tub in the toilet.
The two photos below show the keycard and Canadian dollar denominations respectively.
Simple continental buffet breakfast is served at the hotel. Do take a look at my food blog for the variety of food and drinks offered.
The breakfast area is small. |
Which of the Sunkist juice flavours do you prefer: apple, cranberry or orange? |
There's a small gym on the first floor with only three equipments.
Also available on the first floor are vending machines and an ice cube dispenser.
Below is a photo of the shuttle van for your reference.
We actually stayed at the hotel again after our adventure in Banff for just one night before flying back to Singapore. Thankfully, the shuttle van came on time to pick us up from the airport to the hotel.
