JPN: APA Hotel Nagasaki Ekimae

2-1 Daikokumachi, Nagasaki, Japan

Located across the road from Nagasaki railway station, APA Hotel is a budget-friendly accommodation, the building of which is thin and compact. It's also conveniently located next to a bus terminal where you can catch a ride to the airport and many other destinations.

There are 85 guest rooms inside the hotel with a mix of single, double and twin rooms.

If you're driving, take note that the hotel doesn't have a dedicated carpark.

It was a pleasant surprise that, upon check-in, we were given a bottle of Tully's Coffee each, which was of adequate strength and mildly sweet.

The three of us had to split into two rooms on the seventh floor.

A breakfast coupon entitles you to either a Japanese set or a Western set.
Here's a look into one of the double rooms.

Watching that at night made me crave for supper.
Folded paper cranes can be found in all rooms in any properties run by APA Hotels & Resorts.

Not surprisingly, the bathroom is small.

I could see a bit of the railway station from the room.

Breakfast is served at the hotel's Irish pub.

That was my virgin experience having breakfast with catchy Irish traditional music in the background.

Drinks are free-flowing.

Take a look at the short video clip that I recorded while waiting for breakfast to be served.

At the point of writing, APA Hotels & Resorts runs more than 400 properties across Japan and more than 40 properties in the USA and Canada.
