We dropped off at Osaka railway station as we had to change to another train, but before that, we went to a nearby shopping centre to do a bit more shopping.
We were scheduled to leave Japan for Jakarta, Indonesia from Kansai International Airport in Osaka. As such, we said goodbye to Kobe and spent our last night at Hasegawa Rinku Guest House West that's located not too far from Rinku-Town railway station, which is just one stop away from the airport.

We dropped off at Osaka railway station as we had to change to another train, but before that, we went to a nearby shopping centre to do a bit more shopping.
Look at the sea of people in front of that cheesecake shop! |
I just had to go to a Kit Kat Chocolatory stall to get my dose of those dainty chocolate snacks infused with sake (Japanese rice wine).
It took us about 10 minutes to walk from Rinku-Town railway station to the guest house. We arrived after dark, but I also took a photo of the building the next morning for your reference if needed.
It's a self check-in and check-out accommodation. One week prior to the stay, I received an e-mail from the guest house about our assigned room and the door lock number.
In total, there are less than 10 rooms spread over two floors. |
The room is surprisingly pretty big, definitely bigger than the size of most rooms in many hotels in Japan.
Little did I know that our assigned room could actually fit four people. |
Bath towels are provided if you happen not to bring yours. |
Take a look at the bathroom and the toilet.
I recall that the liquid soap and shampoo contain royal jelly. They exude a pleasant aroma too. |
From the guide book, I learnt that some rooms are equipped with washing machines.
There's a branch of Gyomu Super not far from the guest house, which sells goods in bulk at very reasonable prices. We ended up buying more things to bring home.
We had our last dinner at Nakau.
I can't believe that it's now 1 July 2020 at the time of writing, and I'm still reminiscing about my December 2019 trip in this blog. Let's hope for a better second half of 2020.
