Japan Airlines prides itself in its Sakura Lounge that exudes elegance with warm and earthy colour scheme. At Narita International Airport Terminal 2, there's a Sakura Lounge in the main terminal building and another one in the satellite building. I know I probably should've checked out the former, but I really enjoyed the serenity of the latter as there weren't many people around.

At the point of writing, the lounge is closed because of the low traffic during this trying COVID-19 season. The one in the main terminal building, however, is open.
Lockers are available near the front desk. |
Like every other lounge, there's a dedicated workspace, which is located near the entrance.
Take some time to relax on one of the comfortable seats.
I decided to plonk down on one of the sofas facing the tarmac. |
It takes about 10 hours to fly from the airport to Helsinki, Finland. |
Below one of the wall-mounted TVs showing the flight schedules is a notice that says, "Please refrain from using cellular phone in this lounge. Thank you."
Don't forget to drop by my food blog post for more details on the food and drinks that I had as breakfast inside the lounge.
I love having rice for breakfast. Do you? |
Alcohols in the morning - why not? |
Here are but two photos of the gents.
When was the last time you were in Tokyo on a holiday?
