Bapor Kibra, Curaçao
After a morning of fun at
Curaçao Ostrich Farm and getting our stomachs filled there, my BFF and I were heading to Curaçao Sea Aquarium that's in the vicinity of Mambo Beach. Possibly the most famous beach in the island, Mambo Beach is definitely a nice place to bask in the warmth of the sun.
Instead of driving us back to
Curaçao Suites Hotel, the friendly driver from the farm agreed to drop my BFF and me at Mambo Beach.

The flag of Vatican City is raised at the Church of the Sacred Heart. |
He dropped us at the entrance of Mambo Boulevard, a trendy place for entertainment, shopping and dining.
Welcomed by rows of palm trees! |
I should've put Pikachu and Melon there and took a photo of them. |
Who was driving that colourful choo-choo train?
Eating on a budget? There's Subway at Mambo Boulevard.
El Grill is the only Mexican restaurant in the island. |
Sea turtles have been around for more than 220 million years. |
Let's head to the white sand beach!
Chill & Grill: Hey, it rhymes! |
You need to pay to use the beach chairs and sun beds, unless you're staying at the nearby resort. |
LionsDive Beach Resort (4*) looks like a great accommodation to stay at.
Too bad, there wasn't anyone playing beach volleyball that afternoon~ |
Enjoy the view of the crystal blue water.
Is that an abandoned ship? |
Well, that ship is actually the property of Curaçao Sea Aquarium. |
Gazing at the horizon~ |
It has just come to my attention that the official name of the beach is Sea Aquarium Beach. Mambo Beach is actually the name of a bar there that's known to be especially lively every Sunday.
