My BFF and I were thankful that Surinam Airways' scheduled flight from Paramaribo, Suriname to Miami, the USA via Georgetown, Guyana proceeded as scheduled. Frankly speaking, both of us were afraid that the airline would cancel the flight again after experiencing such an issue earlier during our trip.

It turned out that the flight was about 80% occupied, but we were guessing that most people would fly all the way to Miami.

If I remember correctly, there were three buses deployed to bring all passengers to the aircraft.

As we were seated towards the front of the aircraft, we were the last batch of passengers to be transported by the bus.

Do the Business Class seats look comfortable to you?

I quickly settled into my seat, 8F.

The magazine was more than enough to keep me occupied for such a short flight.

Once all passengers had been seated, the flight attendants closed the overheard compartments before performing safety demonstration.

As usual, I prayed for a safe journey before we took off.

I know this is random, but I haven't eaten cotton candy for ages.

There was no refreshment provided. Each of us took the Guyanese immigration form from one of the flight attendants who walked down the aisle pretty fast.

The aircraft must've been bought from Air China.
Soon enough, we commenced our descent to Cheddi Jagan International Airport, the main gateway to Guyana.

Part of a meandering river~

It had been drizzling a little bit by the time we landed.
A new, modern-looking terminal building was still undergoing the last stage of renovation when we were there.

As of 2018, the aircraft has been flying for 25 years.

The national colours of Guyana are red, yellow green, black and white.
We waited for about 20 minutes for our luggage to appear.

I know it's not a common travel destination for tourists, but has anyone of you been to Guyana before?
