In the quest to visit all 47 prefectures of Japan, I embarked on yet another journey to this fascinating country to explore a few destinations in Aichi, Gifu and Mie Prefectures. My adventure began with Japan Airlines JL712 that brought me to Nagoya, marking my virgin experience of touching down at Chubu Centrair International Airport.

With lingering sleepiness and bubbling excitement, I left the house early for the morning flight. Changi Airport Terminal 1, where I checked in for my flight, was pretty bustling even before 6.00am.

It wasn't until recently that I learned Louis Vuitton's slogan: 'The Art of Travel'.
I decided to take a quick detour to Terminal 2, which had been partially reopened at that point. Among the highlights is the Enchanted Garden.

Its intricate blooms are a reminder of nature's resilience even in an air-conditioned environment.
Boarding commenced promptly 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Gleaming white against the grey tarmac, the aircraft stood ready at the gate.
The 202 Economy Class seats are arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration.

While the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) screen was generally responsive, it was rather laggy at times.

Economy Class passengers can enjoy an hour of complimentary Wi-Fi service.
Once the safety demonstration video concluded, the aircraft took off to the skies smoothly.

Ascending into a canvas of blue~
I started a game of mahjong during the initial climb before watching Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

What gave rise to the myth that cats have nine lives?
Initially I thought they'd proceed with the main meal service, but apparently the flight attendants started with givng out snack packets and beverages first.

Hmm… They might've been trying to clear some stocks.
My food blog is already prepared with the details of the meals. I wasn't expecting all these for a morning flight, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Brunch main course #1: Braised Pork Belly with Rice
Brunch main course #2: Grilled Chicken with Rice

Here's a quick look at the lavatory.

After the meal service, the flight attendants kindly requested passengers to lower their window shades. I spent most of the time watching TV shows.

Four and a half more hours to go~
Okinawan dragon fruit shaved ice!

Hopefully I'll get to see cherry blossoms again soon!
Prior to arrival, the flight attendants came around with a light snack service.

To be frank, I've lost count of how many times I've been to Japan. There's always something new to discover, and I feel lucky each time I get to return to the Land of the Rising Sun.

A winding river snakes through the landscape, its silvery surface reflecting the sunlight~

The Boeing 767-300 is installed with JAL SKY SUITE Ⅱ seats in the Business Class Cabin.

I was prepared for the long immigration queue at Narita International Airport.
