AUT: Austrian Business Lounge @ Vienna International Airport

To begin with, I'd like to say that this is going to be a really short post as my BFF didn't take a lot of photos. As we were going to fly in the Business Class with Austrian Airlines, we were entitled to access the Austrian Business Lounge in the non-Schengen area of the country's principal airport, which is actually a rather small one.

As we were dropped off in the Schengen area of the airport after our flight with Turkish Airlines TK1887, we tried to find our way to the non-Schengen area. The lounge is located just after the immigration checkpoint between the two areas.


I didn't see any busines centre, but there's a multi-function printer near the receptiond desk.
To be frank, I was rather disappointed to see the size of the lounge, but thankfully it wasn't too crowded that evening.


For the food, the airline engages DoN, the largest privately owned catering company in the country.

Not surprisingly, there aren't that many seats, but the lounge is well-lit.

There's a pretty good view of the tarmac.

If I'm not mistaken, those are real fruits that you can have.

Interestingly, there are more than enough shower rooms inside the lounge. I recall seeing a corridor with quite a number of shower rooms. I didn't have to wait for long to have my shower.

It was a nice shower, thanks to the powerful water pressure.

As we had a layover of about 5 hours, we actually spent more than 3 hours inside the lounge.

For the price point, I'm not sure if there are any other hotels around offering free-flowing freshly grilled unagi (Japanese freshwater eel) for breakfast.
