For the final entry to wrap up this travel series, let’s take a look at the flight back home in Business Class onboard Singapore Airlines SQ177 from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Operated by Airbus 350-900, the flight offered a reassuring sense of familiarity and comfort even if it was a brief one.

Boarding was called right on schedule.

Was that a private jet in the background?

The airline's medium-haul Airbus 350-900 is designed for regional flights between 3 to 8 hours.

The seats are arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, offering direct aisle access to all passengers.

There are 3 rows in the smaller Business Class cabin at the back.

As I settled into my seat, the soft leather upholstery immediately made me feel at ease.

Besides a power outlet, there are two USB-A ports.

That’s as far as the privacy divider could go.

I love the massive plush pillow.
I enjoyed the welcome drink even if hot towel service was absent.

Shortly after finishing my drink, a flight attendant came by to ask what drink I'd like to have after take-off, as well as my choice of main course for lunch. Anyway, have a look at the menu.

While they no longer list face masks now, it's likely you can still ask for one if need be.

What's your favourite cocktail?
The safety demonstration video was shown as we taxied to the runway.

Little did I know I'd go to Ho Chi Minh City again to meet not just one, but three friends, soon enough!
If you haven't seen the post in my food blog yet, care to make a guess what cocktail did I have with the nuts once airborne?

Do visit my food blog for all the details on the food and beverages.

Lunch main course #1: Grilled Fish Fillet with Mustard Cream Sauce
Lunch main course #1: Stir-Fried Kong Pao Chicken

I spent a fair bit of time exploring KrisWorld, the airline's In-Flight Entertainment.

Perhaps too short for a movie, but perfect for a quick travel binge! Take me back to Hokkaido!

Singapore Airlines flies to Ho Chi Minh City twice to thrice daily depending on the time of the year.

I had the chance to lie down for a while.

Purple-tinted ambient lighting: my favourite colour!
Let's check out one of the lavatories in the cabin.

Always nice to see fresh flowers in a lavatory!

The wonderfully citrusy Quercus by Penhaligon's was first launched in 1996.

Soon enough, we were already on our approach into Changi Airport.

We finally landed and arrived at Terminal 3.

That’s a wrap! I look forward to visiting more prefectures across Japan, slowly working my way towards completing all 47.
