A member of the Star Alliance, Copa Airlines serves as the flag carrier of Panama. It's no coincidence if the livery reminds you of the now-defunct Continental Airlines and the current United Airlines because Copa Airlines formed a partnership with the former in 1998 and adopted a similar brand image.

My BFF and I initially bought Economy Class tickets, but we decided to upgrade to Business Class at a low cost.

We were exceptionally well taken care of by the cheerful flight attendant. Thank you!

The airline first began operations in the second half of 1947. Since then, they've grown their fleet to 101 aircraft at the point of writing.

After learning a bit of Spanish from Duolingo, I found myself understanding the language more than I expected.

For flights under 3.5 hours, each Business Class passenger can choose between a hot or cold snack.

Snack #1: Hot Turkey Pastry
Snack #2: Cold Turkey Ham Croissant
Time flew by, and before we knew it, we were descending to Tocumen International Airport in Panama City.

Panama marked my first visit to Central America. I was thrilled to explore the city and finally check off one of my bucket list items: visiting the Panama Canal.
